Untitled
2018, cotton, wool, elastic The sculpture wrapped around the column presents a warming enrichment of comfort. This comfort is a desire purely cherished by all, however, the reality is a harsh and rough life. I chose to incorporate white to emphasises the innocence and purity of the fabric. The purity is that while most of us live in a rough lifestyle, the comfort stands alone. It’s left as unknown and deserted, which as a result, has wrapped itself around a surface ready to be embraced by anyone’s gaze upon approach.
