2018, performance and film This work was a similar take on from luminosity where artworks had to have affliations towards light. Here I played with the projection of lights by dancing and with a film camera I filme only the shadow. On the day of presentation, I performed right next to the shadow and tried to mimic it. The speed of the shadow (after film editing it) made the performing figure (myself) furiously try and undergo an exhausting endurance. Unfortunately, the live performance was not recorded, however the shadow dancing was. Essentially, to imagine to physically copy the same ritual for several minutes is the art itself. The logic was to connect with a body part that is made by light: the human shadow. The attempt to mimic provided the affliation of trying to bond with the shadow. This, and personifying the shadow as more human like. The link to watch the shadow dance, not the performance is in the link below https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5yIbXADoXUE&t=1s The picture on the right are the shadows about to commence their dance. I would at the same time begin dancing with them. The picture on the next page is during the shadow dancing. Here I also play with the colours , experimenting the appearance and aesthetic of the shadow.
