Where's the love
Artists Statement 2018, plastic, lighting Out of all materials, it would be strange to have one of the most notorious killers of the environment present. That being plastic bags. After being engaged in years of global warming paranoia and the environment being at mercy of human consumption, puts forth a smoothing conclusion. It’s that why don’t we cherish the plastic bags? With a high priority of recycling, I’ve decided making plastic bags a clothing fashion. Plastic takes several hundred years to completely break down, as such why not make use of it. The reason why I come to such an arbitrary conclusion is that I want to expose another chapter of the severity of the fragility of the Earth’s environment. Whether you agree or disagree with global warming is beside the point. The idea is that its wise to take more efficient action with recycling. The fact is that we’re running out of space, resources and much more. Therefore, there’s nothing wrong with seizing the opportunity of wearing plastic clothing. Like the ongoing fashion taste, if the plastic is styled to be aesthetically pleasing, then it would be popular among consumers and henceforth we are saving more for the delicate environment. The work is projected to be that attempt to inspire people that the fashion of plastic isn’t at all dreadful, but rather wise considering you’re saving more for the environment.
